Bootcamp is On the Way !
Make Your Team Ready for Robotics Bootcamp 101!
After the remarkable success of Bootcamp 101 – Spring ’24, the AUST Robotics Club is back with an even more structured and skill-driven bootcamp this semester. Designed to equip students with real-world robotics skills, Bootcamp 101 (Fall ’24) brings together hands-on learning, innovation, and teamwork across three specialized wings.
Bootcamp Overview – Fall 2024
Wing 1: Basic Robotics & Mini Projects
Participants will begin with the fundamentals of electronics and microcontroller-based systems. From controlling LEDs to building automation-based mini projects like motion-activated lights and soil-moisture plant watering systems, this wing builds a strong foundation in sensing and control systems.
Wing 2: Bot Design & Programming
This two-phase module focuses on building actual bots like Human Tracking Robots, Line Following Robots, and Soccer Bots. Starting from hardware assembly to full programming and testing, students will get complete exposure to robot design, control logic, and team collaboration.
Wing 3: 3D Design & CAD Modeling
In this wing, learners will be introduced to CAD design, starting from basic sketching to advanced modeling, assembly, and final presentations. This helps participants visualize and prototype their mechanical ideas digitally — an essential skill for robotics and engineering design.
What’s New This Semester?
- More project-based classes
- Separate wings for focused skill-building
- Continuation of mentor-guided learning
Bootcamp 101 is not just a training ground — it’s where future innovators take their first steps. Join the movement, build your skills, and gear up for the challenges ahead.
